What all one can think when there is only veg food available ? Dal Makhni and Paneer ? What in Paneer then – Few dishes like Kadhai Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala etc. I never thought I can have so much of options in vegetarian cuisine. Hats off to Udaipuri for the creativity with the veg food which has given a remarkable taste and lot of options to herbivorous gentry in the town. 🙂
A small but beautifully decorated place showing the best of the art utilising the steel crockery. Mr Varun – The person behind all this have a good experience from their already running food chain in Udaipur and Chef Vimal Dhar is adding the value to this place by spreading the taste with his imaginative thoughts with food. Here are few of the unique things in their menu:
Palak Pakori Chat – An immaculate starter which had batter fried spinach leaves cooked and served with indian chutneys. Crisp and too good in taste.
Kashmiri Soya ki Seekh – somewhat fiery yet magnificent in taste starter which is actually soya sticks blended with indian spices.
Arvi ke kebab – Fried colocassia kebabs tempered with ajwain and chili powder. Unique preparation with a traditional and authentic taste.
Tulsi tandoori khumb – One of my most loved pick which is barbequed stuffed mushroom loaded with the extraordinary and exceptional basil flavors. Loved the aroma and it was simply stunning. A must try at udaipuri.
Udaipuri Daal Tadka – Yellow daal presented with a different and unique tadka which gives a flawless taste to the typical daal.
Bhindi Palak Bhujiya – This is another claim to fame which I tasted at Udaipuri. A signature dish by Chef which is stir fried spinach and okra mixed with indian herbs and spices. Superb in taste.
Dum ki Subz Biryani – Exceptional in taste and what an aromatic piece of art. Loaded with flavors and impeccable in taste. Not to be missed in any case 🙂
In a nutshell, This is a paradise for vegetarian crowd and the sort of taste which they serve is something exceptional. A variety of choices in the menu is their USP. I can recommend this place anytime for the veg food in NCR. Definitely a value for money place.
