On a saturday afternoon, I along with few friend decided to go to Locale which is a cafe located at the PVR anupam. They have a decent cover area which is spread across 2 floors. The ambiance is nice and the painted walls makes it quite attractive. We opted for terrace as the weather was quite good.
A corner with few antiques along with the quotes and paintings on the wall gives it a quirky look. Hookah bar in terrace adds to the beauty.
Started with cocktails – Night shadow and Jungle juice. Both were good in terms of presentation and taste. Jungle juice had dark and white rum as a base whereas night shadow was a Vodka based drink with some cranberry juice.
Snacks – We attempted veg popper trio of cheese. Not very cheesy but not bad either. Average in taste.Veg extravanga pizza was delicious. Nicely done thin crust pizza was cherished by all. Grilled chicken kafta was better in taste. Kerala Kozhi chicken roast looked good as it arrived on the table. The presentation was quite good but the taste disappointed. Lakhnawi mutton Seekh was amazing.
Main course – Mutter Mushroom was one of the best pick of the day. It had the perfect mix of spices which gave it a wonderful taste. It went pretty well with the laccha parantha.
Desserts – Tried Tiramisu which was quite appealing the way it was presented. Taste was amazing and presentation was awesome.
Sheesha was another good thing which we attempted at Locale. Service was prompt. Overall, It’s a nice and cosy place to spend time with your loved ones and hang out with friends.
