Sector 29 has been a perfect destination for all the beer lovers due to the highest number of microbreweries in the town and Boombox Brewstreet adds to this list. This new entrant in the already emerged market is trying to establish itself as a brand which offers delectable food and refreshing beverages. Quite huge in size, They have a decent seating area with different options ranging from high tables and chairs to the comfortable couches.
Interior is very tastefully done and one can notice the efforts put up to setup this place. There is a lot of creativity involved in terms of both designing the place and presenting the food items.
Being a beer fan, I tasted the beer samples and began with their premium beer which was perfect. The brew was very refreshing, not too bitter and was properly fermented. The things which needs the special mention are the names listed in the menu and the way the food is presented. Each and every preparation here looks so tempting and gets all the focus due to the way it is presented. Full marks to them for the mind blowing presentation.
Punjab se lekar Delhi via Spain is the fusion of the Mexican and Indian food having a Spanish hint. Kidney beans with the crunchy crust served with anardana chutney was awesome.
Ye Reshmi Julfein was actually the chicken tikka with pesto sauce flavors. I loved the taste and the presentation was superb.
Kool-Cha was an innovative combination of the south indian spices with chettinad mushroom and curry leaves. Topped with the coconut chutney, this turned out to be a delicious snack.
P B& J – A stunning end product comprising of Paneer stuffing inside a big bread pakoda served with Jam. The taste was unique and I really loved it.
Mr Gulati Kebab – Minced mutton served as the galauti kebab along with mini paranthas. I loved the way it was presented along with the chutney droppers.
Main to raste se ja rha tha – Golgappe filled with sweet curd and tamarind chutney were too yummy. It turned out to be a very light snack and was cherished by all.
Boombox based LIIT – Served in the cylindrical tumbler, this drink had vodka, rum, tequila mixed with orange juice. Taste was quite good and it was loved by the group.
After so much of the nice and quite filling options , we opted for the desserts.
Khaike paan italy wala – One of the best desserts I had with a twist of paan and gulkand in tiramisu. The taste was out of the world and the presentation was lovely. This was actually the pick of the day. A must try dessert at boombox.
I love my India – A mix of boondi ladoo with rabri turned into a cheesecake was simply delicious. Again a fantastic presentation served with kiwi and blueberry jelly.
Service was bang on and all the orders were delivered on time.Servers were well versed with the menu and explained each dish to the guests while serving the orders.
Verdict – Boombox Brewstreet turned out to be much more than what I expected from this place. Brilliant work done by the chefs which makes this place a fantastic destination to enjoy and spend time with your loved ones. A must try place for the foodies for their exceptionally good food and amazing booze.
