The Classroom – A new entrant in sector 29 market is more of an experience which takes you to the good old school days. Its a feeling which one gets when they take a time out from the busy office schedule and then suddenly they hit a place where they see the school canteen, wooden classroom benches and the whole nostalgic aura.
Beautifully done interiors, book lampshades, ramu kaka ki canteen and those hanging chips and kurkure packs in the canteen – Everything has done its bits to take you back to the school. Spanned across 2 floors and a lovely terrace, this place can easily cater large audiences with its comfortable seating options.
I went there with few of my friends on a weekday evening. Tried the wheat beer which was perfect and quite filling.
The menu at the classroom is quite interesting. We ordered thin crust BBQ chicken pizza which was excellent.
Badami broccoli was an innovative preparation and the cashew marination added mughlai flavor to it.
Veg Lukhmi was deep fried hyderbadi snack with stuffed veggies mixed with south indian spices.
The Reshampatti chilli mushroom was amazing. Another deep fried snack filled with cheese which went really well with the mint sauce. Chilli chicken was next on the table which was quite fiery. We asked for it to be more spicy and we loved it as it was made as per our liking. ?
In mains, we attempted Butter Chicken along with garlic naan. Butter chicken was creamy and well cooked. Flavor was bang on with the right blend of spices. Service was excellent and all the dishes were served on time.
Verdict : This place is a nice option to have lip smacking food along with the freshly brewed beer. Diversified menu and quirky interiors makes this spot a perfect place to recall the old memories. Pricing is decent considering its a brewery. Recommended to all the beer buddies and fellow foodies in town.
