There have been lot of breweries opening their doors in Gurugram and most of them are in Sector 29. With this, the competition is getting steep resulting in an innovative approach for food and drinks with the best quality service. This is a win win situation for both the breweries and customers.
After Stories is one such awesome place recently launched in Sector 29. Located very near to IFFCO chowk metro station, this beautiful place will surely be in your favorite list for the kind of beer and food they serve. The place is huge with lovely interiors and comfortable seating options. Spanned across 2 floors along with a basement, it can easily cater the large groups which makes a nice option for the private parties.
I have been here with a friend to try their fresh brews and it surprised me like anything. Their brews are fantastic and one of its kind which you don’t normally see at the other Gurgaon breweries. The four variants were Apple cider, cyser, milk stout and Belgium wit beer. Out of these I personally liked apple cider and milk stout.
Let’s talk about the food which they have to offer. Crispy Aloo Sabudana vindaloo curry was awesome and one of its kind snack. The taste was phenomenal and it had a perfect hint of Sabudana which I loved a lot.
Tandoori Mushroom served with cheese stuffing and dhaniya pudina masala was fantastic. The dip served along with it was full of flavors and it added a different hint altogether to this lovely preparation. Smoked chicken and mushroom served in homemade bread pot loaded with cheese was excellent. The flavor was very unique and it had a very mild and rich blend of cream and mushroom. Next on the table was slow cooked mutton shank served with blueberry pulao and mutton curry. I must say this is the outstanding dish in their menu. Flawless mix of Indian spices and the tender mutton was cherished by us. Beautiful work done by Chef in curating this interesting menu.
In dessert, we attempted Tiramisu which had Kahlua soaked ladyfinger and chocolate on top of it. It was properly layered and the taste was superb. Lunchtime Churros served with mandarn sauce was the freshly prepared dessert. The freshness can be felt from the very first bite of churros. Service was excellent and all our orders were served on time.
Verdict: It is a beautiful place to try the fresh brews and spend time with friends family. Superb food and drinks along with prompt service makes this a nice option for corporate parties. Recommended to all fellow foodies and beer buddies.
