This spot is for the Biryani lovers. If you are fond of typical andhra food with lots of spices and flavor from the south, then My Biryani is one place that should be on your list. Located at the Supermart 1 in DLF Phase 4, This small south Indian place serves different sort of biryanis. The menu has few authentic Andhra dishes which includes Hyderbadi Dum Biryani, Andhra Brinjal Masala and Andhra Chicken Curry. I tried few of their specialties and opted for home delivery. The delivery was prompt but the packaging was average.
Hyderbadi chicken dum Biryani was fantastic. Typical andhra spices flawlessly dum cooked with the long grain Biryani rice gave it a perfect flavor.
Paneer 65 was awesome and it had the amazing hint of curry leaves and the spices. It reminded me of the taste from the lanes of Hyderabad where I tried it almost 7 years back.
Sindhi Biryani was more on spices and I feel the spices were overpowering and somehow the flavor of Biryani was lost.
Paneer Mushroom masala was decent with had blend of south Indian spices. The curry was thick and I found it to be a bit fiery which you anyways expect Andhra food to be.
Overall, It is a nice place to try the authentic Andhra food in Gurugram. Give it a try and share your experience. Recommended for their hyderbadi biryani.
