Midway Tugnath to Chandrshilla , I looked back to see , how much I had climbed up. The path that few minutes back was making me struggle for my breaths , was looking a harmless trail from midway. I looked the other way up, and saw a mountain peak , standing in all its might , with its steepness challenging my will to take the next step forward.
Yet , the blowing wind , the fresh mountain air which was chilled enough to freeze my face , gave me something, which possibly , I hadn’t experienced in a long time .. A Sense of Absolute Exuberence . I held myself together , and started my ascent through imaginary trails on grass banks. With clouds floating in , I soon lost sight of my fellow climbers and for a couple of minutes, it was pretty much just me .. No sight of the trails I had left , no vision of the path ahead , just me and my steps , along side the mysterious , misty clouds.
And as , I stopped for a bit , to get a long rich dose of air for my lungs , I echoed to myself a line of a poem from the bollywood movie ‘ Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara’ …. “Mere hone pe , aaj mujhe yakeen aa gya “( Today I actually felt , that I too exist ) ….
