Masala House is doing full justice to it’s name as this place is actually a real power house of flavours. I have been to this lovely place few days back for dinner. Lovely interiors, Elegant ambiance and comfortable seating makes it a perfect fine dining option. The authentic flavor of spices along with the graceful presentation of the food is their USP and one couldn’t resist coming back here again and again after tasting their lip smacking dishes.
Their menu is distinctive and interesting. The perfect combination of Indian spices with a zeal to innovate new taste adds more grace to their preparations. Here are few of the things I tried at Masala House:
- Asparagus Paddu – Perfect in taste, this was beautifully presented dish with the hint of south Indian spices.
- Anarkali Tikki – This was a lot thing to have in that day. Beetroot stuffed in a Tikki , mixed with peanut paste and quinoa was a delight to have. Loved it.
- Kathal Varqui – If you a jackfruit fan, then you will be in love with this dish. Indian spices flawlessly blended with jackfruit and creamy sauce served in a crunchy basket, gives the excellent texture and taste to it.
- Silbatte Ki Shammi – Perfectly minced mutton mixed with lentils and spices was delicious. The flavour was bang on.
- Dora Kebab – One of the best non-veg dishes I had in recent times. It was so tender and juicy that it was served directly from the seekh using the string (Dora) it was tied with.
- Chur Chur Naan with Dal Makhni – This is definitely a deadly combo and this place is making it even more deadlier. The texture of the Chur Chur Naan along with the scrumprious Dal Makhni will make you fall in love with this preparation.
- Palak Motti – This was a unique dish which is actually the mashed spinach cooked in garlic Butter and spices, topped with paneer and mascrapone cheese cutlet. Awesome in terms of taste and quality.
- Pota Kaleji Shikate – This was a wonderful piece of art by chef. Kaleji cooked along with shikate pieces was just amazing. It was so tender and one of the best mutton dish I had ever.
- Gajar Halwa Kunafa – To put a halt to such an amazing feast, the dessert has to be like this only. By just looking at the dish, one cannot imagine that this could be one of the most loved indian desserts. Gajar ka Halwa was rolled inside the crunchy crust of vermicelli and dressed along with pistachio. The texture of this dessert added more taste to it.
Verdict: Masala House is a power house of indian flavours. Once you are here, you can explore the indian food in a very innovative and interesting way. Well trained and knowledgeable staff takes the hospitality to the next level. Highly recommended to all the fellow foodies for their eccentric and delectable food.
