RMC (Remember me cafe) is a small cozy place located very near to the UCO bank in Shahpur Jat. Been here on a Friday afternoon with few of my friends and was surprised to see what all this tiny place has to offer.
Ambiance is very creative with the small lamps decorated on the cycle wheels. They have nice and comfortable seating options available.
Their menu is quite interesting and we started with cafe hazelnut blast which was superb. Cold coffee with the blended ice cream mixed with hazelnut turned out really well.
Baked BBQ chicken wings were the next on the table. Nicely baked but somewhat different from the normal barbeque chicken wings. The flavor was more from the Indian spices rather than BBQ sauce and for that reason it was not sweet. Liked this unique flavor here.
Creamy cheese white sauce pasta was amazing. The flavor was intact and it was loved by the group.
Chicken tandoori Momos were flawless. Perfectly cooked Momos served with the tangy sauce was a deadly combination. Chicken steamed momos were quite good but I really loved their tandoori ones.
We ordered for Grilled chicken skewers which were marinated with caper lemon oregano sauce. The taste was fantastic and the presentation was fabulous.
In mains, we tried their dal makhni along with plain rice. Dal makhni had the homely touch and was topped with Kasoori Methi which added to the flavors. Perfect combination to put an end to this feast.
Verdict : This place is a must try for their ambiance and tasty food. They have a diversified menu and there are lot of things one can try while spending time with the friends. Recommended to all fellow foodies.
