Kebab Gali is a place full of taste – Desi indian food from the streets of Delhi has made its way to the lanes in Gurgaon. Located at the emerging Supermart 1, this place has a small but comfortable seating area. Ambiance is very tidy with few antiques hanging on the walls giving it a traditional touch.
I have heard a lot about their Vasant Kunj outlet so I went at the Supermart 1 outlet on an evening with few of my friends. Menu is typically north indian with all the specialities from the delhi. Began this food journey with dahi kebabs which were fresh and perfectly done. Loved the texture of the sooji sprinkled over the kebabs.
Stuffed mushroom was full of flavors. Rightly spiced and a wonderful preparation by the chef. Soya tikka was the finest pick of the day. Damn soft soya tikka which was stunning in taste. Full marks to the chef for this dish.
I tried their kastoori chicken which was juicy and perfectly cooked. Chicken malai tikka and dohra kebab were cooked to perfection. Dohra kebab which is actually the mutton kebab coated with chicken layer is an art in itself.This place is famous for their lip smacking food which is quite popular in vasant kunj.Non veg is their specialty but the veg was no where less than their non veg food.
Main course was quite tempting. Reasonably priced menu with different options ranging from quarter to full portions. Tried their gobi adraki which was flawless and mind blowing in taste. Dal Makhni was well cooked and had the right blend for the spices.
Chicken biryani was well presented and full of aroma as well as taste. The recently opened place in Supermart 1 is doing full justice to the name of “Kebab Gali”.
We had a sweet end to this feast with Phirni which was delicious. Service was very prompt and the presentation was awesome. This is a must visit place if you want to try typical north indian food with some desi tadka.
