The Grill Mill is a new entrant in the supercool cyber hub. Beautifully done interiors with the lively aura makes it one of the best options to chill out with friends. Lovely ambiance and the nice seating arrangement adds more charm to this place. Their shining kitchen is visible from the glass door and by looking at it, one can very well imagine the time and efforts put up on setting up this venture.
We were welcomed by the staff on a Saturday afternoon with a smile on face and “Gauva ka chatkara” which to my surprise was awesome.
The mocktails section was quite innovative with “Ayurvedic Mojito” listed out there adding the fennel which had given the divine flavour to this usual drink.
I began this feast with Kafir lime coconut veloute with scampi. The soup had a perfect lime flavor along with coconut milk and the taste was out of the world.
Then came the preparations from their innovative menu. Dudhiya gulkand tikki, mint paneer walnut ki tikki and palak patte ki chat. Gulkand tikki had sweet touch of gulkand and went pretty well with the cottage cheese and hung curd. Mint paneer walnut ki tikki had the cottage cheese blended with the walnut and was quite good in flavors.
I tried the assorted dimsums which had prawn filling inside. Chicken chapli kebab was another gem which I explored here. Well presented and perfect in taste. Bhatti da murgh had the right blend of spices and was cooked to perfection. Loved every bite of it. Baluchistani mutton chop was one of the best I had here. Tender mutton with the perfect mix of spices gave it a heavenly flavor.
The main course had different options and I was almost full by this time. I attempted Dal Makhni, Zafrani Pulao, nalli pasandida and sailani murgh. Zafrani pulao was stunning and full of flavors. Nalli pasandida had the perfect texture and the flavors were intact.
Anjeer aur Gulab ki kheer was a perfect end to this feast. Amazing dessert which reminded me the flavor I used to had at Amritsar my hometown. Taste was spot on and I being almost full by this time, still the serving bowl was clean in seconds 🙂
Service was excellent and the staff was very courteous. Each order was served with a smile on the face.
Verdict – This is an amazing place to hangout with friends and spend time with family. The buffet they serve here is very reasonably priced considering the variety in the menu with not much damage to the pocket. A must try place to explore the innovative food in NCR.
