The Clock Tower is the place with the fantastic aura which takes you to the old times. From the old rock bands posters to your favorite comic characters, All is so well presented that you feel yourself in the flashback enjoying these memories. The place is damn beautiful and the artistic work along with eccentric interiors adds to the beauty of this wonderful place. Spanned across multiple floors, They have a comfortable seating arrangement ideal for all kind of audience. From high chairs to the couches, everything is so well placed that they can easily cater small to big and then huge groups.
This place is recently opened on golf course road bang opposite to the south point mall. One can easily spot the big clock at the top and a small left turn in a lane takes you to the magnificent Clock Tower.
We were welcomed by the staff with a smile on the face. As you enter the place, you will be amazed to see the beautiful photo frames and the quotes on the walls. A big charlie chaplin clock along with the live band setup adds more charm to this place. The rooftop is astonishing where you one can enjoy the ambiance and have a night view of the busy golf course road.
We were a group of 6-7 people and began this journey with their special brew – Belgium Wheat Beer. Beer was perfect in taste and the thing to note down is they are not using any automated process in the brewing process. The brewmaster “Thean” had done a brilliant job to get the perfect product out of the malt. Trappist Style Tripel was one of the finest brew I had till date. With the alcohol content of 8%, This lovely beer was the best pick of the day.
We tried their starters from the menu which looked to be quite impressive. Non-Veg Mezze platter had pita bread with hummus which was amazing. Chutney Paneer Tikka was soft and had the perfect blend of indian spices. Bangkok veg spring roll was quite crispy and had nice filling. Mr. Reddy Chicken 65 was a disappointment for me. The authentic south indian spices could have been mixed well to get the perfect texture and flavors which I feel was missing in that preparation.
Mutton seekh was excellent and had the right portions of the spices. Soya crumble and vegetable burger was quite bulky which were served along with the fries. Patty in the burger was juicy and was cherished by all.
Service was very prompt and the servers were good in explaining the dishes which they were serving to the guests. Full marks to them for the service and the hospitality.
Verdict – This place is definitely a must try for their hand crafted brews and the fascinating ambiance. A perfect destination to spend time with friends and family.
